The Kane 3500 Differential Manometer is a useful pressure meter that measures pressure from 0 to ±80mbar (±1psi) which makes it ideal for applications such as flue draught measurement and differential pressure measurement on gas/air ratio vales, often found on high-efficiency boilers. Readings have a best accuracy of ±0.005mbar and are precise to 0.001mbar (high/low resolution switching is available). The pressure meter is even capable of performing an automated tightness test whilst temperature compensation helps ensure accuracy in all conditions.
Results are shown on the Kane 3500-1’s digital display. The manometer gives readings in mbar, Pa, hPa, kPa, mmHg, mmH2O, inH2O and PSI as well as offering data hold and min/max recording. A smoothing function helps prevent transient readings from affecting the overall result. Up to 250 results can be automatically and manually logged to the meter’s internal memory. Additionally, it is compatible with an optional KIRMP wireless printer for producing hard copies of readings on site whilst the Kane Wireless Printer App can even send print out data to the user’s smartphone. Operating the meter is very simple thanks to the intuitive menus and clearly-labelled push buttons.
