The Kane 3500-2 Differential Manometer measures pressure from 0 to ±160mbar (±2psi) which makes it a useful instrument for tasks such as flue draught assessment and differential pressure measurement on valves controlling gas/air ratios such as those on high-efficiency boilers. Readings are accurate to ±0.02mbar (<0.2mbar) with a precision of 0.003mbar whilst temperature compensation helps prevent inaccuracies in different conditions. The 3500-2 is also capable of an automated tightness test.
A smoothing mode helps produce a stable reading on the Kane 3500-2’s display. The user can toggle between low and high resolution as well as choosing the unit (mbar, Pa, hPa, kPa, mmHg, mmH2O, inH2O and PSI). Data hold and min/max recording are available and the manometer is compatible with the optional KIRMP printer for producing hard copies on site from the 250-reading internal memory. Operation is undertaken via the simple push-button interface and the Kane Wireless Printer App can be used to transfer printing information to the user’s smartphone.
